If you want to feel better, to look better and to be healthier, then, detox bath is a great option for you. Also, if your feet are tired and swollen, this detox bath will help you to revive them. It’s summer time and it’s time to take care of your feet if you want to go out in sandals or walk barefoot.
You can use a detox bath in spa centres, but you can also prepare your own foot detox bath at home. This recipe is very simple and it’s composed of 3 ingredients which are cheap and available to buy in the markets or maybe you even have them at home. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 cup of Epsom salt – a regular ingredient used in detox baths (you can buy it here)
- 1 cup of sea salt
- 2 cups of baking soda
- foot detox bath
Mix all ingredients and keep them in a closed container. To prepare a detox bath for your feet, just put ¼ cup of the mixture from the container in a foot basin and add hot water (the hotter the better, but be careful not to burn your skin). If you want to, you can add a couple of essential oil drops, which will make your feet smell awesome. Soak your feet in the foot basin and relax for 30 minutes. The salt absorbs the toxins from your body and helps to refresh your feet.
After the treatment, the water may become darker, which is a sign that toxins are successfully removed from your system.
